About Us

Our History

Resurrection Anglican Church has been through a continous process of evolution since its inception over thirty years ago. What began in 1984 as a highly-traditional congregation worshiping in King James English and using a liturgy from the 1920's has slowly grown into a vibrant contemporary family of faith.

The original group of Anglicans who founded Resurrection worshiped in a variety of rented properties until they settled into the current building in 1996. Reflecting the changing face of the conservative Anglican realignment, Resurrection has been under the jurisdiction of several branches of the Anglican faith. Previous senior pastors included The Rev. Michael Carr (UEC) and The Rev. Greg Mashburn (REC). ( You can read a more detailed history of the church here.)

Fr. Frank Gough arrived in 2010, and in 2013, the congregation transitioned into its current jurisdiction under the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). (Read more about the ACNA here.)

At Resurrection, we celebrate the richness of our historic faith, as we keep our hearts centered on Christ. Our first priority is making the Gospel accessible as we reach out in love to the surrounding community.
